Hello, CannonerGS.
Thank you so much for signing up for Taief. Below, you'll find your starting scenario. If you find that you need additional help, or if you just aren't sure what to do next, feel free to visit our forums. In the text beneath your starting scenario, you'll find all sorts of information about your character. This game uses a very common sense approach. If your character is hungry, search for something to eat. If you're cold, search for warmth. Each status has a three-strike approach. You'll go from hungry to starving, to dying of hunger, etc. If you ignore a status effect for three scenarios, the consequences could be fatal.
Good luck, player, and may your efforts find survival.
From dreams filled with lines of code and how to make them interact with an array of electronics in your workshop, you feel a gentle tapping rousing you awake. At first, you groan, roll over, and attempt to continue sleeping. But the tapping continues. You find your eyes disobedient, not wanting to be opened, but after some effort you manage to persuade them open. Inches from your face you see an old woman with thick spectacles balanced precariously on the tip of her nose. You don't recognize her, or the room you're in. Everything smells of smoke, not from cigarettes, but from some great fire which once ravaged the building you occupy. You see scorch marks on one of the walls behind her. Tiredness slowly fades to analytical thought as your try to translate the world around you.
"Finally awake?" she asks with a voice sounding almost too chipper.
You reach for your face, but find your wrists cuffed to the side-rails of a hospital bed.
"Where am I?" you manage.
"Never you mind that, honey. You're alive and that's what's important. If you want to stay that way, I need you to answer a question for me."
You look around the room, suddenly piecing together the puzzle before you. It's a workshop, you can identify at least four major components of explosive material and a multitude of containers and shrapnel. She wants you to build a bomb.
"What question?"
The woman grins and cups your cheek. Producing a shiny metal key from her pocket, she unlocks your handcuffs and gestures to a workstation.
What do you do?

Well, clearly she doesn't know what to do with the bomb materials so they are not a threat to me... I would probably kill her with the shrapnel and take her clothes for warmth then begin searching for food starting with the containers in the room I would also do my best to find a method to bring those supplies with me.

Finally free from the constraint, you massage your wrists and make your way out of bed, covering yourself with a sheet.
"What do you need me to do?" you ask.
"Well, our target is a man who stole a great deal from us. He'll be driving in a military-style jeep, and we need an explosive capable of cutting through something armored like that."
You nod and sit down at the workstation. You can hear the sounds of people shouting and arguing from some street below and you look to the door of the room. It doesn't seem to be locked.
"Do you have wire cutters? I need those and a razor-knife."
The old woman nods cheerfully and waddles over to one of the toolboxes near the workstation. She retrieves both and hands them to you.
"You see this wire?" you ask.
She leans down, too nearsighted to see what you're referring to, and as soon as she gets close enough you clap one hand across the back of her head while using the other to shove the open pair of wire cutters into the center of her neck. She tries to scream and pull away, but it's too late. You've already thought of every outcome and all you have to do is wait for her to bleed out. Given her years and her physical frailty, she dies quickly in your arms, and you guide her corpse to the floor with ease. Removing her blood-stained clothing, you manage to cover most of yourself with it and take a moment to look around the room.
Thinking quickly, you grab the post potent materials: gunpowder, ball-bearings, a spool of copper wiring, and three remote detonators, and wrap them into the sheet. You tie a series of knots, turning the sheet into a makeshift bag, and go to the door. You hear voices outside, two men, talking casually about a group of bandits near the highway.

First I would glance around for any containers(jars, plastic cups, anything like that) also I would look for a fire source. Using this source I would resort to temporary cannibalism to feed my hunger and attempt to get water from the bathroom sink. I would then attempt to wait out the night in the room or at least until the men outside leave. if they were to come in I would use a container and some gunpowder and balls with a copper line to a detonator hide in the back of the bathroom and wire it to the front door to blow them up if they came in also I would use anything in the room (mattress, workbench, etc.) to prevent the blast from harming me.(I would use minimal supplies to kill the guys outside if needed)

Glancing around the room, you find a multitude of glass mason-jars storing all manner of explosive elements and shrapnel. Careful to not make too much noise, you empty one of the jars and think of a way to start a fire. You look to the dead woman and your razor knife, dreading what you're about to do. Still though, hunger wins out and you kneel on the ground beside her.
"Everything alright in there?" you hear a voice call from outside.
Panicked, you rip the bottle of gunpowder from your bag and grab one of the detonators. A large man with tribal tattoos all over his biceps enters the room to a grizzly site. He looses a pistol from the holster at his side and fires four rounds into your unprepared body. A minute of shock passes, and you embrace death's warm embrace.
Oh, no! Your character has died. A full transcript of events (your email address will be excluded) will be posted on our forums for other players to learn from.
